I deleted my old post now that I have everything all figured out, so, if you commented that one, I would love if you commented here so we can figure out something for real! This is Simon Vasovic, PB'd by Sebastian Stan, a 24 (almost 25) year old actor hailing from Toronto, Canada. He's been acting in some capacity (as an extra or in commercials or theatre) since he was a kid, but moved out to LA at 18 when he was cast in his first film role. His credits and a full bio can be seen HERE. I think he has quite a few co-stars, so let's all figure something out! Personality wise, Simon is really laid back and has a tendency to be a bit sarcastic. He doesn't take himself very seriously, and he can really get along with most people unless they exhibit extreme diva behavior, stupidity, or are just a total asshole. He's known for being a bit of a playboy, but not in a malicious way, he just looks at it as being young and having fun, he's always up front with ladies about not wanting anything serious but I would be fine with having some girls who felt they've been burned by him, or girls who are happy to hang out and have fun with him. Friends are also great, maybe someone who was his roommate when he first moved to LA whom he remains really close with still? If I can fill anything for you, please let me know! [28 Nov 2009|07:01pm] connections [mcconell] this is susan mcconell and she's a 22 year old actress originally from new york city. i don't have her credits figured out yet but i'm thinking she's a child actress who took a seven year break to have a "normal life" and then started doing movies again once she'd graduated high school. her father was a rock guitarist who had several hits with his band in the late 80's - early 90's and her mother is an actress who also modeled in the early 80's. her father died when she was six in a plane crash and her mother and step-father raised her. susie or sue (never susie q because it was her father's nickname for her) is quite talented but she also has a love/hate relationship with the business. she holds a lot of resentment towards the fact that she didn't want to act but was basically forced to by her mother and spent her teen years trying to be as normal as possible. she's picky with scripts and refuses to work on projects that are "money grubbers" and will only do a project if she believes in it. other than that she's fairly down-to-earth and extremely goofy. she is the one who makes everyone laugh and is constantly performing - something she's been doing since she could talk. her best friend is arianna, she's the cousin of btrx, and she once dated ivin 22 said Amen|Can I get an Amen?

[28 Nov 2009|05:31pm] connections [avant] this is cameron avant, 23 year old actress born in los angeles and raised, well, all over the world. her mother peaced out a couple hours after she was born (cameron hasn't seen her since she was covered in amniotic slime and has no idea who she is) and her father is the lead singer of an aerosmith-esque band that was pretty big in the 70's-80's and enjoyed a decent revival in the mid to late 90's before half the guys checked themselves into rehab. cameron herself has had some issues with illicit substances but despite frequent reports to the contrary in the tabloids, that's all primarily in the past. acting was never something she was really interested in; she was cast as marissa on "the oc" after auditioning on a whim and spent most of her first season just learning to hit her marks. she's not terribly outgoing and can be downright shy (painfully so!) when she doesn't know someone very well, though once you get to know her its next to impossible to shut her up. relationships aren't her thing, which might have something to do with the fact that she was never really exposed to a healthy, functioning relationship until her father married her current step-mother when she was in her teens. as far as storylines go, i would love anything and everything! there is a tentative list of credits in her journal, so if they co-starred in anything, i'd love to brainstorm something awesome. fellow children of rock stars, neighbors past and present, childhood friends, flings, friends, friends with benefits, people the tabloids say she's feuding with, people the tabloids say she's hooking up with, etc etc etc. even if you can't think of a way they'd be connected, give me a little personality synopsis and i'll come up with something! 18 said Amen|Can I get an Amen?

[26 Nov 2009|11:39pm] connections [drummonds] I figured I'd try this out again now that I've got his story hammered out! This is Scott Drummond, a native of Kenosha, Wisconsin who migrated to LA in '88 with his band Down to Day (sounds like the Goo Goo Dolls). In the name of sticking it out until the record labels came knocking, Scott moonlighted as a male model (in all his plaid-clad glory) until his band scraped together the funds to bang out a demo. Despite his insistence that they cling to their indie roots, Down to Day only really got noticed after they were included on some Hollywood blockbuster soundtracks, so Scott spent a lot of the 90s lamenting the loss of his indie street cred while enjoying the spoils of going multi-platinum. By the early 2000s, he'd grown up enough to take himself a little less seriously; since then, he's gotten progressively more relaxed about being taken seriously in general and gets his kicks on playing around with the idea of being a rock star. Around 2006, right after the release of their last studio album, Down to Day opted to put themselves on hiatus into the foreseeable future. These days, Scott's counting down to his fortieth birthday at the end of December and just sort of rolling with things as they come. Tentatively, Scott's been in milton's The Fire Fund since around 2008ish (I think?) and has been learning how to take a backseat to someone else after twenty-plus years of being the front man. In terms of lines, he's kind of an open book - he's been running back and forth across the country for the last couple of decades, so there are ample opportunities for random meet-ups or whatever. This means that she's photographed some of the PBs here at ~rogerebert, specifically Mary-Kate Olsen, Ewan McGregor, Jude Law, Keira Knightley, Jake Gyllenhaal, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Emma Watson, and Rachel Weisz, so I'd love to talk to those people especially! I don't have too much figured out for her, but one connection I am aware of is that she is the ex-girlfriend/muse of jensenbellamy! She has the writing credits of Flora Fraser and Amanda Foreman, and the photography credits of Tim Walker, so she's in ur movies judging your costumes and she's in ur Vogues making Lily Cole look less terrifying than usual. She's 38 and lives in London but will be traveling pretty frequently to DC because she has family there. btrx is her best mate, as they're sort of twinny socialite types and went to school together, so subsequently she would know all of maclar's friends because she's forever hanging out at their place. She's divorced, she was married when she was very young, which was a big mistake, and she was known for being the wild one out of her and Beatrix. She's a snarky little knowitall who is willing to try anything once, and while she usually looks impeccable, she does occasionally get into scrapes where her Agent Provocateur panties are showing. I need lines, specifically people who are into history (she basically only researches rich females with nice clothes in the 18th/19th centuries) and were attached to films she was consulted on (period films in general), and then people she's photographed. Tim Walker doesn't do a great deal of celebrity photography but if any of your PBs are models, we might be able to work something out. Friends, enemies, older people she can drink with and laugh at the silly children and then fall over and do something silly herself. Other people with college degrees. [25 Nov 2009|06:53pm] connections [uentin] Me again! I've decided on Ralph Fiennes, and I've got some credits. This here is Quentin Bailey. He's 48, from England, and a bit of a Daniel Day-Lewis type in the sense that he works entirely for himself, not for money; there are occasional gaps where he won't work at all, and then he might do three films in a row. Personality-wise, he's a pretty grounded, friendly, if not slightly shy chap; so British it hurts, very polite, level-headed, and approaches the Hollywood game somewhat with amusement. He understands that saying things such as 'I don't do the Hollywood thing' is ludicrous, but at the same time, prefers to sit back and watch. Basically, you won't see him falling out of bars, but he's more than happy to attend premieres and press events and the occasional party. There's a list of tentative credits in the journal; I know some of the dates are wrong in game canon, but I really just copy and pasted from IMDb and will change dates as I figure him out more. If I've put some already taken credits in there, feel free to let me know; I checked ~roeper but it wouldn't surprise me if I've overlooked one or two. This is Greg Miers, a Representative to Congress from the 8th district of Massachusetts. He was brought up in Boston, went to school in Alabama (and then Law school at Duke) and has been working in Congress since '04. Technically, he's a Republican but he's been going against the grain lately by voting for things like healthcare while going against things like anti-abortion legislation. Non-work related...ly, his family is considered the NuevoKennedys so he's been in the media his entire life. He is also married to a GQ staff writer with whom he's getting a diorce but prior to his starting to date her in early '09, he had a bit of a work-hard-play-hard reputation and was spotted out at a lot of clubs/bars. He didn't really date anyone in the traditional sense (no sex! Gasp!) during that period, but I would love lines from then, either with people he went out with or people he used as his date to functions and stuff. Unfortuantely, I'm not particularly creative and can't think of lines outside of that, but I would love to hear any and all of your suggestions. So what do you say? Think you can help a guy out? From there we'd need DJ's, I've already talked to zera and she is down, I think there's a couple DJ's out there, so maybe one more to trade off time spinning with her would be cool! [22 Nov 2009|01:37am] connections [serena] hey guys! this is serena james, 25 years old, played by the fabulous julia dunstall. this girl has quite a few layers, but i hope you guys will like her! first of all, this girl started off as a child actress, think kirsten dunst pre-bring it on, so she's been in the business for a heck of a long time. her big break, however, was in lost in translation, playing charlotte! she took a break from acting for a bit to "find herself" and take a step out of the lime light, which of course fueled some lindsay lohan-like rumors (though, for serena, they weren't true). she dabbles with partying and such, but isn't such a hot mess that she'll be found in rehab any time soon. eventually, this past year, she finally came back, taking a role in the private lives of pippa lee to slowly put herself back out there. ALSO, fun fact: her mother is an ex-porn star and her father is still currently directing adult films so anyone can feel free to hit her up for the latest in that area.. just don't bring up anything about her mom or she'll probably give you a fist to your face, as it's the one thing that can get to her. anywho, she really needs absolutely everything when it comes to storylines so please, don't be shy to bring up an idea! some things that i definitely am interested in are fellow child stars, friends that grew up in LA like her, maybe a neighbor or roommate in her apartment building in malibu, past flings, people she met while traveling (she practically visited everywhere in the world that she could!), people who think she's a druggie, past co-stars, etc etc! also, she's extremely close friends with abrams, so anyone who is a friend of his, could be a friend of hers! 30 said Amen|Can I get an Amen?

[21 Nov 2009|10:05pm] connections [farland] guess whose back, back again. okay that was kind of pathetic but this boy is back, although he has been completely fixed over this time around. everyone meet ronald farland, pb dustin milligan and is connected to vivyan. he is 25 years old, born and raised in england but also spent sometime in toyko with his father and his step-mother. his dad was an important aristocrat and his birth mother was the first chair violin in the associated british orchestra company. he gets his musical talent from her side. and he is the voice credits of the wonderful comedian stephen lynch, if you don't know who he is he is that guy that sings the superhero song (which is amazing i might add). his credits are here most of them are the same and some of them have changed. his personality is an odd one. he likes to make people laugh and smile, which was why he dropped his education at oxford and went into comedy. covers up all non-important feelings with humor. he speaks japanese since the language was pounded into his skull when they moved to tokyo. he also attended prep school in the country and later returned. currently he is in london and is doing a small tour throughout the comedy clubs there. lines wise, i guess i'm looking for anything. old flings (which he has a completed back-story for those), friends, fellow comedians he goes on tours with and anything else. that's really all i have in mind right now. so thank you, lovelies! 21 said Amen|Can I get an Amen?

[21 Nov 2009|10:27pm] connections [teairra] okay! after much work and editing, i've decided to bring you teairra mari vonne. she's played by alicia keys, and is an upcoming singer. her vocal claim is the fabulous keri hilson, and you can also find the whole gist of her personality as well as biography here. teairra basically didn't grow up in the business or whatnot, but she had two passions. one, was fashion.. and two, was singing. she didn't normally go about telling her parents about this particular dream because they were always set on her doing different things that they thought were more important to her. after finishing highschool, she graduated from fidm with a degree, and worked for a local kitson in la before her singing career. she has jmarc to thank for her upcoming career now. the two met at a night club and were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. he had interest in casting her in another artist's music video. it was the day that she visited him to simply talk business when he caught her singing in the kitchen. in the beginning she was very pessimistic about the whole idea of even trying to become anybody at all. but he continued to push her constantly which lead her to gaining the confidence that she has now. i don't have any set storylines besides the one with her producer, but i could use anything. 4 said Amen|Can I get an Amen?

He's a singer/producer and dabbles with acting from time to time but music is his passion. I have a bio already developed for him which is located in his journal, but I have to do a lot of revisions to it, depending on if I apply here. Lines would be ace, because it'll fuel me to get my ass in gear and work of credits and such. I'm looking for someone to play his ex wife(whom he still pines over), I already have a face for her, but that can be changed. Any and all lines are welcomed. [20 Nov 2009|05:57pm] connections [jmcinnis] So the people have apperently spoken! This is Jack McInnis, ex-Navy pilot and current drug dealer to the stars. He got his start working as a bodyguard to a pop princess after he was discharged from the Navy and ended up being her drug runner and one thing led to another and now Jack is more into selling the drugs then selling any sort of service. Oddly enough, he sticks pretty closely to a code: He won't sell to anyone that hasn't been refered to him, he doesn't do his own merch, doesn't live large by any means (he has a shitty studio apartment in West Hollywood)...In otherwords, he's very careful about what he does. In terms of public perception, he's just kindda known as that guy that's famous for being famous. People assume he just got picked up by the "in" crowd when he was bodyguarding and has stuck around ever since. He does, however, have a legit job as a sort of jack-of-all trades, doing everything from fixing leaky pipes to bartending private parties. Right now, I'd love to have a few people as clients, especially his initial charge. Any other lines, of course, are loved. Now it's off to the bio-mobile, Robin! 4 said Amen|Can I get an Amen?

She was born in Connecticut but bounced around the country due to her father's job, spending time in California, New York and Washington DC. Her family moved to England when she was 6 so that is essentially where she was raised. She's currently a member of the British girl group "Girls on Film" (sounds like the Saturdays) who are super popular in England and are also rising steadily on the American pop charts. Personality wise, she led a very sheltered life so she's become a bit of a wild card. She's very sweet and good natured but she's also not afraid to take her clothes off for a photoshoot or look overly sexy in videos and at personal appearances. She's somewhat cutesy in that she loves all things girly but she's been known to have a few drinks. Her publicist has touted her as something of a Lolita, a sort of "see with your eyes, not with your hands" type of public figure who is also somehow extremely easy to relate to. Storyline wise, I'd love to have some good friends for her, maybe an ex with whom she shared a very public break up after he dished some (untrue) juicy details about their relationship, tour mates, people she's met at awards shows, label mates, flirtations, anything and everything. [19 Nov 2009|09:25pm] connections [casatt] Okay after a complete half/half split, I decided to go with Frank (sorry for those looking forward to seeing Justin). Anyway, this is Seth. He's 26 and I was hoping to find that someone needed some band mates, because I'd like to tag him onto that rather than have an entire project to himself. Side projects might be added into the mix, but it'd be great if there's an opening for some members. About his background and personality though, he's really into partying, and he's always armed with a beverage, whether it be a beer or a cup of coffee. He knows his limits and he's fairly responsible when it comes to handling himself, so he's not some out of control drunk. He adores music, it is his first love and he picked up the guitar when he was pretty young and has had an intimate relationship with it ever since. He's from San Francisco and grew up in that area, so he's always been in sort of a crazy environment. A die-hard, completely loyal friend, he's incredibly social and especially when drunk, wants to know everyone around him. That being said, I'm sure he's had quite a few hookups in his past, so throw those at me. His last girlfriend became pregnant about a year ago and they broke up shortly after his daughter, Cairo, was born. He's civil with his ex still, and spends as much time as he can with Cai but with touring and his career, it's not nearly as often as he'd like to. So friends, at the very basic level, partying buddies, other San Franciscans... and obviously band mates. Nothing's really set in stone for this guy other than what's stated above (even that's sort of tentative) so give me your ideas. 9 said Amen|Can I get an Amen?
